You Can Be Empowered Through Personal Leadership
When most people think about empowerment they think of something external. For example, a leader, coach or mentor giving them some form of inspiration or motivation. Yes, this is part of empowerment, an important part but, empowerment starts from within. It starts with a concept I call ‘Personal Leadership.’ Without the ability to lead yourself, you can’t feel empowered. Furthermore, you won’t put yourself in situations where you can be empowered by others. You won't attend the speech, game, practice or seminar with an empowering leader. Once you see that empowerment start from within everything shifts. You will no longer need to look outside yourself for answers. My favorite personal quote is, “YOU are always the answer.” Yes, we all need guidance and mentorship, but to put ourselves in a position to receive help from others, we must be willing to help ourselves, believe in ourselves and take massive action.
I would like to invite you to join me as I discuss in more detail the concept of Personal Leadership and the eight mandates that make a ‘Personal Leader’. The eight mandates process was created to empower each of us as individuals, so we can empower others. Together we can make the world a better, more productive and more positive place.
